I am still looking for information about Lavina Morton. I did find out she was born in Pennsylvania (Location unknown) in December 1867 and she married Thomas Kearney (Carney). The census of 1880 showed they lived in Emporium and apparently he changed his childrens name to Carney which is what we go by now. Hope this helps to shed some light on the subject now.
