I am researching a Preston W. Morse. I'm doing this for a friend at my church and I've found out very little about Preston. I don't even know if Wing is what the W stands for. Preston was my friend's grandfather. He was born approx. 1859 in Beacon, NY. He and his parents later lived in LaGrange NY. His father was Joseph Jason and Margaret M. Morse.. He had a sister named Susan E. who was born around 1874. Could that be your grandmother? He had several other brothers and sisters. He married Mary Anne Dingee. I think Preston died around 1931 or 32. One of the big reason's of this research is that my friend would like to know where Mary Anne is buried. She also said that Preston and Mary Anne were separated or divorced. She is afraid that Mary Anne is in a pauper's grave somewhere. My friend is 90 yrs old. I think it's sweet that she is worried about her grandmother. I would appreciate anything you can tell me about the Morse family or also the Haughtaling's or the Dingee family.
