Morse Jr., 76, of Belleview, Fla., passed away January 19, 2006, at Ocala Regional Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y. Philip moved from Plattsburgh, N.Y., to Fort Myers, Fla., in 1963. In 1989, he moved from Fort Myers, Fla., to Belleview. He was a retired clerk from the United States Postal Service in Fort Myers, Fla., and owner/operator of L & M Service Station in Plattsburgh, N.Y. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Ocala, Fla. Philip was a veteran of Korea serving in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Melva Morse of Belleview, Fla.; two sons, Ronald Morse of High Springs, Fla., and Randall Morse of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Cora Elizabeth "Betty" Soper of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28 at 11 a.m. at Central Christen Church in Ocala, Fla. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Belleview, Belleview, Fla.
