He married Josephine Bennett and Carrie Lee was born. He married Sarah Elizabeth McDowell in Feb 1870. James was born 3 Sept 1843 in Caldwell Co., KY. His father is William Washington Morse and mother is Matilda A Grubbs. His siblings are Mary Ellen, Susan Bell, Wiley Dollar, Thomas H., Meltzer Stevenson, Harmon Hayes, Sarah, and George. I am looking for his father, William W. because I think he started a second family in Kansas with a lady called Eliza and conceived my greatgrandmother, Mary Jane "Mollie" Morse in April 1970, then moved to Missouri.
