Morse, 99, 48 Maple St, died Saturday, Mar 2, 1991 in Corning Hospital. She was born Oct 19 1891 in Addison to John and Susan McTamney O'Connor. She married Willard D. Morse Aug 11 1920 in Addison. He died in 1960. She was a graduate of Addison High School and the Addison Teachers' Training Class, receiving her teaching certificate at Geneseo Normal School. She taught in area schools for 35 years, retiring in 1957 from the Grove District School, town of Erwin. She was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association, and a communicant of St. Catherine's Church. Surviving are: one son, Phillip R. of South Waverly, PA; one daughter, Marguerite (Mrs. Donald) Halferty of Addison; and eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. predeceased by one son, Willard Jr, died in 1971; a daughter Mary Catherine, died in 1927. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday in the Flint Funeral Home with a recitation of the rosary at 8:45 pm Prayers will be there 10:30am Tuesday followed _rest of obit gone.
