Ashtabula OH Star Beacon newspaper 02-22-2007 GENEVA, OH - - Linda S. Patterson, age 65, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 at her home in Geneva. Born in Painesville on February 14, 1942, she was a daughter of David C. and Mary E. (Van DeBoe) Morse, Sr. Linda lived in the Geneva area her entire life, graduating from Spencer High School in Geneva. She married Gerald D. Patterson on August 7, 1965. Linda worked as a clerk at the Donahue Center for 14 years, and at Massucci's Ford in Geneva as a secretary for ten years. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Geneva. She enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Survivors include her husband, "Jerry"; two daughters, Elizabeth (Joseph) Laing and Rebecca (Paul) Wayslaw, all of Geneva; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Kendrah), Ryan, James, Johnny, Jordan, and Olivia; sister, Katherine "Casey" Fischer of Bradenton, Fla.; and two brothers, Johnny Morse of Geneva, and David Morse of Ft. Pierce, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ellen Morse; and a brother, Kelly Morse. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 66 S. Eagle St., Geneva, with Mother Barbara, of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Ashtabula, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva. Calling Hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman, St., Geneva.
