I'm sure that someone will at least attempt to help you but first, plese tell us exactly which American states you are referring to [Appleton ?, Montville? Belfast? Rockland, Knox co.?] <smile> yes, there are alot of Morse families and yes, there are some 'experts' with alot of information for alot of them so I hope someone has the information you are looking for. Kay Cutshall Kay, These are not states (as noted above)...meaning Appleton, Montville, Belfast and Rockland. As you may know most of these little or small towns are in Knox County in the State of Maine. I have responded to James and being from Maine may be able to tap into some Waldo County Morses, in an adjacent county in Maine, who may be able to help James. I have one Morse cousin there who has tons and I mean tons of books/papers/genealogies and many of them on the Anthony Morse lineage. Kay Cutshall, are you from Anthony Morse as I am? If so let's also compare notes/genealogical findings. I have mine of course form the Morse book (1905 or whatever) as I am sure you do and mine down to the present. Thanks. 3. James, I'm going to assume that when you put appleton, montville, You are talking about the State of Maine, There are a lot of Morse's in Massachusetts, but there is The Anthony Line of Morse that went into Maine, and I assume when You say they were from those towns, that they might be from the Anthony Line Judymo

    3. Thank you Kay, yes as Don says Martha Ellen Morse came from the State of Maine, so my locations as quoted, are all in Maine. So grateful for your response, James. -----Original Message----- From: morse-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:morse-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Nacelod@aol.com Sent: 26 February 2007 02:27 To: morse@rootsweb.com; atgoose@suite224.net Subject: Re: [MORSE] Martha Ellen Morse; please scroll down;thanks.
