Dear Judith, Yes, my apologies I should have mentioned Maine. Another gentleman, Don Beattie, also mentioned the Anthony Line and of course, that's the first time I've heard of it - not being familiar with the Morse family and US records generally speaking. I came to realise that the Morse connection seemed to go way back to the very early days of settlement (plantation) and since I'm compiling a family history that part of the story is of intense interest, hence my search and request for help.
