Collins Rowe Hakes in CA in 1857. Her father was Justus Morse b. 27 Mar 1809 in Chester, MA. Her mother was Elizabeth Towne. Mabel died in 1909. I don't know the names of her siblings. Does anyone's family fit in with this puzzle?

I know my William married to Mary Eddy was in the Rev. This John Morse could be his brother. I have Joseph Morse married to Mary Tucker the parents of a William and John. Rhode Island and MA changed border lines frequently at this time. William's pension request was made in NY, however it states he was married in Swansea and I have proof of some of their children. He served in RI according to the papers. Any information on John Morse as brother of William and any information on Joseph Morse and Mary Tucker would be appreciated. William's pension NO. W17153.

New York Cemetery. This William is the husband of Mary Eddy Morse. They were married 18 Feb. 1768 in Swansea, Bristol CO., MA. Mary never remarried and applied for a Rev. War Pension with two of their sons signing the application. Benjamin and James. Mary Eddy Morse is buried in St. Lawrence County at age 95. She was buried either 1 Jul 1843 or 1 Aug 1843. I am more than willing to pay for any information on this subject. The pension number for William and Mary is W17153. I am trying to get a Supplemental of William Morse and Mary Eddy. Names spelled Mors, Morel and Morse

In the album are two picutres of a Hannah Morse and a Mr. Morse. I suspect these may be Laura Waitte's parents. The pictures were taken in Concord New Hampshire around the mid to late 1800's. Also in this album is a William H. Tibbits from Pittsfield New Hampshire, that is listed as Laura's grandfather. Other New Hampshire folks from this album are Laura as a child, Charles C. Nutter Jr, Harry J Nutter, Edith L. Nutter, and Lizzie Nutter of Concord New Hampshire. Also a Bertha Holmes from Manchester New Hampshire. She was born in Corning, NY April 28, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Catherine Quill. A life-time resident, she attened Corning Free Academy. Marlene and Ronald F. Morse was married March 18, 1978 in Campbell, NY She was employed at Web's Fish Market for 6 years and following she was employed for 10 years with Corning Inc., and for the last 15 years she had been administrator for Ron Morse's Contracting in Hornby. Marlene was a member of All Saints Parish, attending St.Patrick's Church and a member of Chemung Valley Old Timers. She enjoyed camping, bowling, her craftwork, her fondness for pets, her fun at casino's and she especially enjoyed decorating her home and yard with all the Christmas Lights Displays-on-Hornby Road. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. My ggf-Asa Allen married Diana Morse in Marshall AL 1844. I think her parents may be Wm and Elizabeth Morse. Some of her siblings may be Wilbur, Ben, and Ann- all out of the home by 1850. I believe there were younger siblings as indicated on 1850 census. Asa and Diana Allen settled in Conway, AR 1870. I have also found a Wm Morse in Pulaske and Yell Co. AR 1870.     3. My information from Swansea, MA arrived today and I wanted to share with any person searching this line. I also received a note from the DAR that there was not a record that a person had tried to belong through William Morse married to Mary Eddy. This is my next goal. Heritage Quest lists it as W17153 Marriage of William Morel to Mary Eddy, Feb. 18, 1768 in Swansea, MA Birth of some other children: Benjamin, born Nov. 20, 1768 James Mors, born May 15, 1786 Preserved Mors, born Aug. 7, 1783 I already had my Israel born 21 Jul 1776. These have the signed seal from the clerk in Swansea, MA So my record of William Morse and Mary Eddy for children: Benjamin, Capt. Joseph, Stephen, Sarah, William Jr., Betsy, Martha, Preserved, James and Polly. In 1800 Census a William, William Jr. and Stephen are listed in Attlebourough, MA. Israel was using Morse when he was in the militia in Canada and the signature on his will. Israel's tombstone in Frome Cemetery, Elgin County. All Israel's children used Morse. Benjamin and James signed the Rev. War Application for William Morse and Mary Eddy.
