I have pictures of Addison and Harriett Goodhue. I was wondering if you still have the Bible. I would be greatly interested in it if it is still available. I was also wondering if you have had any other contacts regarding the Bible. I have been unable to contact any distant cousins from that side of the family. Chuck, Re above, which you sent to the Morse message board: My question, is, do you know if your Samuel comes from Anthony Morse or his brother William? These as you undoubtedly know were from the Newbury Morses who came there in 1635. We may have conversed on this subject before. All four of my children were born in Beverly, MA. I worked my heart out for Nacel Cultural Exchanges and then Nacel Open Door in New England for years, but in the end got not assistance or gratitude from the "new" group. It was a great organization under Lee Ann (Leann) Mattson, but became money grubbing and selective with its assistance, I believed, under the new management. I have a sour taste in my mouth about the last year I worked for NOD, eh? I do not know CASE. I have a very positive attitude about researching the Morse Family back to Anthony nonetheless, and have my genealogy written in a chapter called Early Settlers: Morse Family Ancestors and Descendents for my CD book, AMERICA'S MOST HISTORIC COUNTY: PERSONALIZING ESSEX COUNTY, MA IN NATIONAL PERSPECTIVE. Have we written before? I do not know Granville, I guess. Will you enlighten me about how he fits in? Thanks. Keep in touch. Sometimes I have a family who still calls me but it would not be a semester or year long student, but an Homestay student interest. Maybe next year for one or two of those, eh? I was a specialist in the American English tutorial Program and had many teachers and students at work in Maine, especially, in that program over the years. The program was "invented" by Leann and Pascel (in France). Sincerely, Don Beattie

    3. Dear Friends, I want to take this moment to ask everybody who receives this to think about who they know that can open their hearts and homes to an exchange student. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30th is the last day to place students and their are still several wonderful boys waiting for Americans to open their homes and welcome them and show them what a great country we are. We will accept "welcome families" who can open their home for 4 weeks. Families provide room and board and students pay for all their own personal expenses. They have medical and dental insurance. It is really a wonderful experience and a great way to bridge peace with other countries. I have hosted 21 times and it has been a wonderful experience for my children. We accept all family dynamics. Please help me complete my mission and lets think about the kids that are waiting in their countries for an American family to welcome them. Everybody is busy but there is still time to make a difference. This experience will have a ripple effect. Please won't you help? Let's love the world to peace one student at a time! Interculturally yours, Amy Barth 404-277-5175 P.S I cannot get students into Gwinnett County Schools though there is 1 student available for replacement.
