She married C.G. Barber Franklin in the early 1900's in Burke County. He is listed in the 1880 CENSUS for Caldwell County as Cohan Franklin, age 9. He was born October 16, 1870. He had an uncle by the name of Jacob (Jake) Barber. Now About the Morrow Family Sylvanus Morrow was born about 1856 in NC. He was the son of Daniel MORROW and Jemima BENFIELD. Daniel MORROW and his wife had the following known children: Sylvanus Morrow Elizabeth Morrow Meary (Mary Jane) Morrow Claudia Finley Addie ? The following is from an obituary about Claudia. MRS. CLAUDIA McNEELY MORGANTON, Sept. 4--Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia Morrow McNeely, 75, of Morganton, who died late Sunday night at Grace Hospital, were conducted today at Kirksey Funeral Home chapel. The Revs. John Worth Long, Howard Killian and Carl Hemphill officiated. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McNeely had been in declining health for six years. A lifelong resident of Burke County, she is survived by four sons, Robert, William, Joseph, and Jack McNeely, all of Morganton; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte M. Yount of Drexel and Miss Clara McNeely of the home; one brother, Finley Morrow of Valdese. END OF OBITUARY On 18 September 1889, Finley Morrow was born.
