Known children in this family are David MORTON, John MORTON, William MORTON and Elizabeth/Mary MORTON. These families, originally from Scotland, initially settled in Greenville, Spartanburg and Chester counties, SC. The book, "The Peden's of America" is in the process of being updated by members of our family. I am heading up the "House of Jane" and would appreciate any and all input that will help move this project forward. Following the death of John MORTON abt. 1772, Jane married Robert MORROW abt. 1774 and had more children with him. Jane and Robert MORROW died in Morgan Co. AL.
