    3. Well Duncan, I know that there are many families of MORROWs in AL, LA, MO, MS and probably other Sousthern States. So far none of ours have come from there or even thru there. There very well could be, just that so far none have taken my "bait" I hand out. Our Northern MORROWs began [as nearly as we know and can prove] in NY in Old New England Colony With John born in 1775. As yet we do not have his parents. We do have many of his descendants. John md Mary JOHNSON 1793 [abt] in Marcellus NY, and dies by May 1815 in Onondaga Cty, NY. Both of them were killed in a fever epidemic. They had 9 children The eldest daughter, Hannah , md Ward TOMPKINS. They moved to Ohio and moved her siblings who were to young to stay in NY with her and her new husband. James was the next of my husbands ancestors, hse was born 3 Aug 1796 in Syracuse, NY and Md Hannah DOWNING 9 May 1823 in Springfield ILL. {6 children} These children settled in ILL, OR, KS,. John E. Morrow born In Logan, ILL md to Mary Ann SHOUP. Her heritage German and Swiss b 15 Feb 1836 in ILL. There were 11 children from this union, with them scattering a little. Ill, OR, CA, some staying in the East. Young John Ellsworth and spouse Mary C SAVAGE md in Corvallis OR, produced 9 children. They were living in WA, OR, TN, One of their children, Morgan John Morrow md Hazel Irene BROWN and were parents to three boys. All in OR exsept for the war years of 1941 thru 1946. Darrell C. MORROW and Marjorie L CRAWFORD b in OR 1924. We have 5 children [1 boy and 4 girls] all married and scattered, kinda.} Have 15 grands, 15 great grands, 1 or 2 gr gr grands. I know there are some arrived and some due marriages and divorces and more marriages. These people, until this last generation or part of two, seem to stay in the northern states. Supposedly our first Morrows came from Scotland/Ireland but we've not found them as yet and we have had a lot of researches. If any are familiar I'd surely love to trade info with you. 3. Just an FYI, I have the Morrows back to Rev. Jonathan Morrow b. 28 Oct 1546 in Ipswich Suffolk Eng. I don't have info on where all the kids went but the first "landing" in the US I show is in Virginia in the mid 1600's. I have probably over 100 and many of those were in SC and even farther south. I've heard of Morrows in Canada I think and I also have some in TN and IL.
