He later went by the name Simon (I think his middle name). Simon married Mary E. about 1866 in IN and they had a son, Ulysses G. In 1880, they are in Union Co., IA, living next to Fannie BURNWORTH who I believe is his mother. In 1900, Simon is in Polk Co., IA and has a daughter Ora aged 20. Ulysses is in MN with wife Emma and children Elma, aged 8, Clarence, aged 7, Lawrence, aged 5, Virgil, aged 3 and Elbert (Albert), aged 11 months. In 1910, they are in Merced, CA, with additional children, Bessie, aged 7, Dorothy, aged 4 and Edna, aged 1 yr and 10 months. In 1920, they are back in Calhoun Co, IA and they have another son, Duane, aged 10. In 1930, Clarence is in Sac, IA with wife Rosie and children Ruth, aged 7 and Kenneth aged 2 yrs, 11 months. Virgil is in Contra Costa Co., CA with parents and brother, Duane. I am looking for anyone connected to this large family. We are connected thru Simon's (Nathan's) mother, Fannie, who is my g! reat-great-grandmother and her third husband, Christopher BURNWORTH. Simon's father was George and he had a sister, Celia who I have been unsuccessful in tracing. What happened to her? Ulysses had 9 children. There must be lots of relatives out there. Thanks, Pat Parish in CA
