HI Janean, Have I missed the boat somewhere? I have lots of John Morrow's. But not in the South......they are a whole different breed down there. Ours begin with a John born in July in 1776, Old Colony, NY. Have no idea even after 20 some odd years who his parents were. He married a Mary Johnson by 1795 in NY. They had 9 children and John often called Charlie was #3 and married a Mary unk . Their son John md Mary Ann SHOUP.. Their children were 11 and John #1 b 1853 in Logan ILL md Mary C SAVAGE. Their son, Morgan John, known as Jack was b May 1895 in Gorman OR. He Md Hazel Brown and they had three sons. #1 named Darrell, my husband b Dec 7 1921. b in Tygh Valley, OR. [ #2 son was Jack.] We have four and one adopted, all girls except for #1 who is a David. There is a John b 1883, John William b 1884, a John David 1878, John 1818, have a couples John's with Morrow mothers, Both John and Mary [our first] died while some of the children were quite young . They were then sent to Ohio to live with an elder sister who had married before the fevers had taken the parents. Your message sounded as though yoou were researching a lot of Morrows. Just these few are enough for me.
