Sorry, those names don't link up to anything in my informatio so far, although three members of the family did go to Windsor Ontario area after 1880. As far as I know none of my family went to Quebec. I wonder if his adoptive parents were Moreau ? and anglicized the name when they went to the U.S. (just a thought). I wonder if the records of his adoption would still be sealed, or could you learn something by contacting the Province of Quebec? I think there are also message boards for adoptees.
