Hi Vince, I am trying to get some info on a James Madison Morrow. He had a marriage bond in 1833 to marry Frances Hester. They lived in Buncombe Co. until the late 1830's or early 1840's when they moved to So. MO. James later moved to TX (late 1850's or early 60's). Frances had died and he remarried before the move. He lived in several areas of the state and died here (but we do not have where). It is thought that James is son of Rutha (Unkown Maiden Name) and William Morrow. Does any of this info jive with what you have? This is one of my stumbling blocks.
