I have inherited my great-great grandmothers (Emma T. Philpot (Lantz) travel trunk. Inside this trunk was some photos. In particular there is a Family portrait and a leather bound photo album. I believe that some of the pictures are of Philpot's but I also believe some are of the Lantz family. I am hoping that someone out there will have some of the same photos and can ID the people. I have uploaded all the pictures that I need ID's on to my website www.freewebs.com/myfamilyroots Below are a list of the people that I believe could be in the photos. Anyone wanting copies I will be glad to send you copies. LANTZ/ SWITZER Jacob Lantz b. abt 1834 in penn and married Annie "anna" Switzer b. abt 1836 they had I believe 7 child. Christian B. abt 1861 John E. abt. 1866 Emma T. abt 1865 "Irvin" "r" b abt 1869 "ka???) b abt 1873 >From Penn. They the family moved to Illinois where George was b. abt. 1880 >From there I believe they all moved to Nebraska. I have no other information on the family expect for Emma. I'm at a brick wall currently with the siblings. My great-great grandma Emma T. Lantz then married Hugh D. Philpot on Oct. 1890 in Nemaha, Nebraska. They had 4 kids Anna Pearl Philpot (my great grandmother) b. sep. 18 1891 Benjamin Bee b. abt. 1894 Elsie b. abt. 1896 Herbert W. b. abt. 1905 Philpot /Morrow Samuel Philpot b. abt 1779 County Atram Ireland married ( my great-great-great-great grandparents) Elizabeth Morrow b. abt 1780 County Atram Ireland married They had I believe 10 children William Philpot b. abt 1800 how married Ann Thompson both born in Ireland married in Atrim, Ireland Elizabeth Philpot b. abt 1802 Ireland married William Faloon II in Columbiana Co. Ohio March 6. 1835 Mary Jane Philpot b. abt 1806 in Ireland married a Jacob Greer Hugh M. Philpot b. abt 1812 Ireland married a Mary ? From New jersey b. abt 1814 Hugh's second wife was Jane Williams married in Allegheny Co., Ohio Agnes Philpot b. abt 1816 Belfast, Ireland married Joseph S. Faloon 1832 in Cumberland, Pennsylvania Agnes second husband Pat McCormik Samuel Philpot Jr. b. abt. 1817 Belfast, Ireland married Charlotte Smith in 1844 Columbiana Co., Ohio Susan Philpot b. unknown Issac Philpot b abt. 1825 Ireland married Eliza Isabella Dixon Philpot b. 1825 Belfast, Ireland married Peter Coy Hill July 1848 in Columbiana Co. Ohio Robert Philpot Feb. 7, 1822 in Belfast, Ireland married Susannah West on November 18, 1847 Carroll Co., Ohio (my great-great-great grandparents) they had I believe 7 children all born in Ohio all names pulled from 1860 and 1870 census records James W. Samuel M Leah B. Christina Hugh (my great-great grandfather) John Willie " William " Mary Charles Some time between 1880-1890 Robert & Susannah with some or all of the kids moved to Humboldt., Nebraska.
