("Buddy") Morrow. I got it from a descendant and, later, census records: John Hilliard ("Buddy") Morrow, son of David Wesley Morrow and Elizabeth ("Eliza") Elliott, b. June 3, 1850; d. October 8, 1892. John was placed with his brother, William, in the home of Azariah P. Bailey. By 1870, he had moved to Texas to live with his sister, Minerva, and her family. He married Sally Moon. In 1880, John and wife Sally are living in Fincastle, Henderson, Texas. The census shows that Sally was born in Georgia. Also in their home are two sons, David Porter (age 2, TX) and Hall (age 7m, TX). Vital Records Index - North America shows a record of the birth of their daughter, Emma Erin, born May 4, 1884 in Henderson, Texas. The recorded names of the parents are John Hilary Anderson Morrow and Sarah Ann Moon. Information that this child died in 1890 came from a descendant of John's youngest brother, McKendree Tucker Morrow. I hope this information helps someone.
