    2. My line is David James Morrow (GTGTGT grandfather)1815 TN - 1882 Dallas Co MO married Lucinda Young 1821-1874. They had 14 children. Verlina Morrow married James Henry Myers in 1865 in Dallas Co MO (They are my maternal gt gt grandparents. Dora Anna Morrow born 1859 married Elias Wingo born Dec 1853 Dallas Co MO. They married 1876. His father was Francis Segal Wingo who married Nancy Chapman. David & Lucinda Morrow lived in Christain Co Mo in the 1840's and belonged to the Prospect Baptist church. In 1850 census they were listed in Taney Co MO 1860 census Benton twp, dallas Co MO 1870 census Jasper Tep, Dallas co MO Lucinda died in 1874 and he remarried to widow Margaret Montogomery Davis. "Mt Pleasant Southern Baptist Church was organized in the fall of 1869 by Elders john W. Fitch and David Morrow, with Green Williams and wife, Sanford Creek, Martha Creek, Joel Garner, Martha Garner, Frank Wingo, Nathan McDaniel, John Smith, Lucinda Smith, Nehemiah Smith, Caroline Smith and Jihn Williams as charter members." from the Dallas County Missouri Story 1841-1971 published by the Dallas Co Historical Society in 1974. I am looking for information about the family of David James Morrow, Lucinda Young, the parents of James Henry Myers (Peter Myers & Temperance Babb). Family storiies say the Morrows came from Ireland. There is also an unconfirmed story that David James Morrow's mother was the daughter of a white woman who had been captured by an Indian Chief and that he was 1/4 - 1/2 Cherokee Indian. Story told by David oldest daughter and passed pn 60 yrs later.
