What a nice piece of information to have! Has anyone researched this family enough to know the names of the 11 brothers?!!! I hope someone who cherishes it has the old chest! My earliest known Morrow came from Ireland but I think he was carried by a big bird and dropped into PA (Washington Co. and most of his life, Allegheny county) - I have found no traces of his arrival. His name was David Morrow and he was born ca 1759 if one is to believe the gravestone which stated that he was 80 years of age when he died 23 Dec 1839 in Allegheny Co., PA His wife was Elizabeth ______. David is a notable family name, at least from my David on down, so I would be interested in knowing if one of those brothers was a David. My David's children were, in order, Arthur, Matthew, Catherine, Mary, Sara, Elizabeth, William, David, Hugh and Thomas. They were born between 1788 & 1807. Each of the above six sons had a son named DAVID, and much the same down the line..My descent is David, David, David Forbes, Wallis Delos and John Morrow, my father. Wallis Delos also named a son David. The first two Davids were elders etc. in the Old Bethel Presbyterian Church in Allegheny County, PA., and later the second David and his wife were also active in the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church in Wayne Co., OH as they migrated, and later a Presbyterian Church was founded in their home in Missouri. Any one from this family?
