They also make a shambles out of my database! I, too, believed that I descended from the old guy by his daughter Jane. This Jane Morrow (and it's looking more and more like she wasn't Old Sam's daughter, that he was not fruitful and did not multiply)was supposedly born in 1757 (I'm not sure of anything any more) and married James Couples Foster in 1779. James and Jane's second son was named Samuel which, according to the naming custom, would mean that Jane's father was named Samuel. Does anyone have any idea who this Jane's father was?
