    1. [MORROW-L] hello, I'm new to the Morrow Discussion list
    2. My full name is William Robert Morrow. I was born 06 Dec 1938 at Tishomingo, Ok. I started genealogy 01 Aug 1980 and by 1984 published "Morrow's of America 1651-1984 a family history". Just a softback spiral bound printing some 100 copies some of which I sent to various states libraries. My line goes back to David Morrow (3) d.1693 Lower Norfolk Co, Va. There are a couple of generations inbetween which I have to rely upon Worth Ray's Morrow chart in "Tennessee Cousins". Just couldn't find the sources which Worth Ray based his chart upon. Last November I began postings to begin DNA testing of Morrow males. Finally this year five other males and myself began a Morrow DNA testing project. My hopes are to have other Morrow male descendants of David Morrow (3) join and hopefully our DNA will match and thus prove Worth Ray was right. And also to develop other Morrow lines of descent. The more the merrier. My lineage is fully documented back to Robert Morrow 1734-1823 Rev. War Soldier SC who married Jane Peden. I think Robert was the son of "Old Samuel Morrow (102)" who died 1796 Spartanburg SC. I'd be willing to help anybody researching SC, AL, MS, TX, Morrows since I have alot of info gathered. Good luck and good hunting. ....bill morrow of Oklahoma = [email protected]

    3. I am trying to connect two Morrow families or at least find out how my Morrow connects to the BIG picture. I descend from Mary Morrow b.abt. 1760+/- m.abt. 1786 to John Marlin b. abt. 1750+. They were from Londonderry Ireland, Maghera Parish. Their son John Morrow Marlin b. 1795 m. Rachel Graham and they came to Chester S.C. they had 15 children. The most of them ventured to White Co. IL. Three Marlin girls married Adams brothers. However, here is where I'm trying to connect my Mary Morrow. Two Marlin boys married Wylie sisters. Daughters of Peter Wylie and Elizabeth Morrow. (Born Chester S.C. died Bloomington IN) Elizabeth Morrow is the daughter of Joseph Morrow and Jane Wylie. Joseph Morrow was born abt. 1760 and according to a document states Antrim Ireland. Somehow, this Joseph Morrow HAS to be related to my Mary Morrow.
