Morrow, 80, formerly of Joy, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at Mercer County Hospital in Aledo. Services will be at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. The Rev. Carl Stoldt of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Peniel Cemetery, rural Joy. Memorials may be left to College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Aledo. Mrs. Morrow was born Jan. 3, 1920, in Mannor, Ill., the daughter of Fred Sr. and Ivy Kerch Mitchell. She married Warren R. Morrow on April 6, 1940, in Des Moines. He died April 8, 1998. She attended Aledo Schools and graduated from the Joy High School. She was employed 14 years with the State of Illinois and two years at Mercer County Hospital. She was a homemaker and was a member of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Twyla Holmes and her husband, James, of Aledo; two sons, Gail Morrow and his wife, Linda, of Joy and John Morrow of Keithsburg; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Johnson of Moline and Darlene Erickson of Rock Island, Ill.
