It will list her as her married name and as her birth name but will not list Sobieska. I have my grandmother's who was already married when Soc Sec started. It will list however where they were living at the time which obviously will be a year after his death. Its a start. Since you didn't list any locations its hard to answer your question. If they were born in Ireland you might be able to find naturalization papers in the county in which they lived. Janean Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. A descendant of James and Harriet has joined the Morrow DNA project. The line can be found here: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=morrowdna&id=I5883 The site has not been updated since the results came out; the participant matched what we call Group 6 (NC Brothers) because the first two matches were men thought to be brothers. http://www.werelate.org/wiki/User:Amelia.Gerlicher/MorrowDNA#6_NC_Brothers More complete descents from most of these men can also be found here: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=morrowdna&id=I5299 By "matching," I mean results suggesting a 68-80% chance of a common ancestor in the last 8 generations and a 90-95% chance of a common ancestor within the last 12 generations. I'm bcc-ing the participant from your line on this email. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Morrow (Head) b. abt1850 in KY Ella Morrow (Wife) b. 1872 in KY Jesse Morrow (son) b. 1883 in KY Nellie Morrow (daughter) b. 1896 in KY Violet Morrow (daughter) b. 1903 in KY I am not sure if Ella is the mother of these children. I am also not sure if this is actually Jesse's true birth year. I have several other documents that list his birth year as 1894 or 1888. On some of the other documents, he specifies that he was born in Fulton County. The only reason that I am sure that this is my ggrandfather is that I know he had sisters named Nellie and Violet and that they lived in New Madrid, MO. Jesse eventually moved to Arkansas around 1950 with his wife Clara May Belch, and children, Jack and Margie. I have also not been able to find info on Clara May Belch.
