    1. [MORROW-L] Morrow DNA testing project
    2. Any & all Morrow males are invited to join our Morrow DNA testing project. Email Bill Morrow: [email protected] for particulars. Your privacy is guaranteed. The tests involve only the male Y chromosome which pass from father to son. Each participant is sent a kit containing a swab which you rub inside your cheek & place in a vial & mail back to the lab. Painless & simple. I particularly hope some Morrow males who descend from "Old Samuel" Morrow d.1796 Spartanburg SC, will join, since that's my line also.

    3. I am not eligible to participate in your Morrow DNA study but would appreciate any help to determine the origin of my ancestor William Morrow who died about 1828 in Warren Co., TN. His estate sale was held in January 1829 in Warren Co., TN. Prior to that time he had lived in Barren Co., KY from about 1807 to 1812 and before that in Buncombe Co., NC where he was buying and selling land from 1798 to 1807. I think that he had moved to Buncombe Co. from Newberry or Edgefield Co., SC. His family was closely associated with the Jay & Wallace/Wallis families. Again, any help would be much appreciated.
