    2. Brent R. Harris
    3. Jane, you might try "Tennessee Cousins" by Worth Ray. It has its faults but is a good source on Morrows. It mentions James Morrow (son of David Morrow, grandson of Alexander Morrow) and Elizabeth Frame. It is available in many libraries and can be purchased (at least as of a couple of years ago) as a reprint from Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., in Baltimore. BR Harris

    3. Not really but I'm sure they are connected somehow. The only name I recognized was ROSS. I have a Hugh Ross that married Margaret Wylie. I have a William Morrow b. abt. 1756 whose brother Joseph married a Wylie. I also have William Morrow b. abt 1743 whose brother James m. Elizabeth Frame (did you ask about her?) Anyway, these two Williams were cousins. Fathers were #1Wm. David Morrow and Agnes White Crockett - his father was Daniel Morrow w/Margaret Stuart. Daniel's brother David and wife Hannah Hopkins had the #2 Wm. The names are coming together but am sure they relate somewhere. Wish I could be of more help. 3. I show James Morrow b. abt 1729 (siblings births range from 1720's-1740's) married Elizabeth Frame. James died in KY. His parents were David Morrow of Norfolk Va and Hannah Hopkins. I do not have proven sources I can site for you. This is an accumulation of several years of research and piecing together and also early on in my research when I didn't list my sources. I may have something in the file that I haven't put in my database yet but feel strong about my information. 2. I am hoping the person that posted a message in 1997 about Matthew Morrow 1872-1915 is still a subscriber. I have a ton of information on this family on both the Dollar side and Morrow side. On the Morrow side: John Morrow son of Robert Morrow and Margaret McBirnie and Frances Muir or Moore daughter of John Moore and Roseanna McPhern married on 9 June 1841 Killalaigh (presumed Killyleagh), County Down, Ireland. Matthew Morrow 1872- 1915 was their grandson and brother to my grandmother. I would love to share my records with you. Barbara Stettler Washington State USA [email protected]

    3. The only information that we have is from the Wayne Co., KY Census of 1870. He is listed with wife Geneva and two stepdaughters Nancy age 5 and Eliza age 6. In 1880 He is in Clay Co. TN with wife Eliza and two stepdaughters; He also has 4 children - Alfred, Alpha, Alice and Alma. He is in Pulaski Co., KY in 1900. We do not know what the E. Stands for. We do know that he was in the Civil War and have written to see if he applied for pension. We're hoping that will provide some information. We found a Joshua and Nancy Morrow in 1860 Wayne Co. Census with a son John who would be the right age but have noting else to go on. He was born in KY about 1848. I'm sorry that is all the information we have found thus far. Do you have any more information about your John Elijah or Elijah? I have that there are several John's around then. What county do you think he was in?
