I believe that she was born in Ireland around 1864 to Anna (?) and John Morrissey. Julia immigrated to the United States in 1869 aboard the "City of Brooklyn". Julia traveled with her mother and her sisters Margaret, Mary, Anna and I believe 2 other sisters. Julia lived in New York where she married William Ryan and had 4 children John, Edward, William and Julia (my grandmother) Julia died around 1900 from tuberculosis.
