Since you don't know where your husbannd's family is from in Ireland, I won;t be able to pay for a DNA test through one of the commercial firms. However, the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation will do a genealogical DNA test for free. They don't send you the results, but they are posted in a database and I can help you interpret them. The more people who participate, more higher the likelyhood of finding matches and learning more about our ancestry. To particpate in the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation DNA testing program, go to: smgf.org In the Molecular Genealogy section, click on Learn More In the next page, click on Participation Kit They will send you a kit in the mail and you return it to them. If you have any questions in filling out the form, let me know. It may take up to a year for them to include the results in their database.
