GDAY all:) Thanks Kris for your reply re Michael Morrissey Would love to get hold of his emigration record if i can locate it The emigration records often contain a lot of valuable info for researchers, more info than whats on shipping lists The other 2 Morrisseys who came here after Michael, Bryan and Timothy did come from Cashel and their father was Michael, they had around 15 Siblings Soo whether Bryan and Timothy connect, maybe cousins, dont know Bryan and Timothy were a few yrs younger than my Michael, and was thinking as Thomas was only son that i know of in family, Died on trip here aged 4 in 1855,Maybe he was named after Grandfather as with most of my ancestry which is Irish, i can get them Coming out here to Australia but cant find anything else on the families in Ireland, tho i realise many irish records were lost or Destroyed LDS does have some Tipperary Records, looked at some of them, but to No avail Best of Luck with your Research too I hear Morrissey is a fairly common family name in Tipperary, Wonder if its French in Origin..Le Morrise Maybe?
