Tim, You certainly are. There are several options: 1) FamilyTreeDNA. My father has done a DNA test through them through the Morrison surname project, but a Morrissey DNA project could be started there. The cost depends on the number of markers you select. For more information, go to familytreedna.com 2) Relative Genetics. This testing site is somewhat cheaper, and select different markers. Your results would still be comparable to other results from other companies, For more information go to: relativegenetics.com 3) Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation. They are a free testing company, but they do not send you the results. However, they do have a searchable database so your results could be compared to other Morrisseys.
