He died after Gettysburg in 1865 and his wife and children were left destitute in Baltimore. A relative from Australia sent money to help them but we have no idea what happened to this branch of the family. Family names which could have been handed down to the children of Charles were Timothy, Thomas, Charles, Catherine.
