Author: lucileleary Surnames: morrissey Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.morrissey/566/mb.ashx Message Board Post: this is just throwing something up in the air, Dora was born in June 1900, in Beverly Ma. parents were Charles Augustus and Helena Mailett Morrissey, her mother passed away 1904, in 1917 she was out of the house and boarding somewhere else along with working at the shoe factory. in 1920 she was an inmate at the Lancaster State School for girls at age 19 don't know if you see where I am going with this, why was she there? No one knows she never talked about her life before she got married. just that her mother died and her older sister raised her.
