Settled in Richmond, Virginia. Married Elizabeth Keenan on June 2, 1856. James and Elizabeth (born 1836, died 1905) had the following children: Francis Michael (my g.g. grandfather), Ambrose A., Anna E., John P., Joseph Leo, Catherine, Margaret, Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, and James.
