So we share great grandparents. I have a scrap of paper which identifies Patrick Morrissey's (Oul' Paddy Morrissey) mother as Anne Walsh. Paddy fought for the British army in WWI and on his return to Castledermot was invited to leave Ireland by the IRA. He ended up in Carfin, Lanarkshire married to Bridget (whose surname escapes me). Apparently someone on the Walsh side has done some research. I'll try to get back to you. Cheers.
