I am looking for marriage and descendant information on the following people. Melissa Anna DONNELLY (b 7 March 1844 in Ohio) married Daniel C. MORRISSEY (b 4 Aug 1844 in New York). At the time of the 1870 census, the Morrisseys were living in Champaign, Champaign County, Illinois. Their children were sons Daniel C. Jr, Fay, and Matthew (although Matthew died a single man). I don't know whether there are any living descendants of these sons. Where and when did Melissa Anna DONNELLY and Daniel C. MORRISSEY marry? I don't find them in the Illinois marriage index. It is possible they married in Ohio. One of the censuses indicated that they had married about 1868. Melissa Anna DONNELLY's mother was Catharine DONNELLY/DANNELLY (c1800-1888) of Mount Vernon, Knox County, Ohio (census 1860-1880). Also, where in the US were Daniel MORRISSEY's parents (father was James MORRISSEY and mother was Mary MURPHY per Daniel's death certificate; both were born in Mayo, Ireland)? Where were they in 1850 and 1860? Thanks for any help. Jen
