Roger R. Morrissey of Chenango Forks Roger R. Morrissey passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. He was predeceased by his parents, Oliver and Doris Morrissey. Survived by best friend of 41 years, Hal Bowman, Chenango Forks; brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Bernadette Morrissey, Long Lake; a niece and nephew, Holly and Gene Atwell, Spencer and Madeline Morrissey; five great-nieces and nephews, Kole, Eric, Emily, Cory, and Brian. He was also predeceased by Bryan Kisner, whom Roger and Papa Hal raised; and by five children, who knew him as "Uncle Roger" and by close friends. Roger will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Monday, at Root Funeral Home. Burial will be in Long Lake Cemetery. Friends of the family may call Monday from 5-7 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N.
