    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Hi1.2ACEB/305 Message Board Post: My greatgrandmother's sister was ELLEN KENNEDY born about 1845. She married Thomas MORRISSEY on 17 November 1872 at Windgap Catholic Church, Kilkenny. The family lived at Bawnreigh, Tipperary. Thomas was a Constable. Some of the children born to Thomas and Ellen were Lawrence born 1873, Edmund born 1875, Mary Anne born 1876 and Catherine born 1878. I think this family then moved to Co. Wicklow and then to Dublin. Lawrence married at Rathmines, Dublin to Teresa Mulroney. Can anyone please help me with information on this family. Thankyou from Denise, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia

The closest I can come to your date is John-Frederick-Wiliam Morrissey who was born in 1865. There were a lot of Morrissey's in Eastern Canada at that time and we trace our roots back to Patrick Morrissey and Mary Fitzgerald. Maybe there's a connection?
