In your husband's case you would need to find a male descendant of a brother of his great-grandmother. Everyone, Another person has joined the Morrissey DNA surname project at Family Tree DNA. Currently, only one result has been posted. You can see it at: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Morrissey/ You do not need to have your DNA testing done at Family Tree DNA to participate in the project, which I am the adminstrator for. If you have your testing done at another firm, you can send me the results with the appropriate release forms (which I will provide) and we can include your results in the project.
