You asked about Catharine Ann Thannisch, I do have a Julianne Cathenne who married A.G. French in 1857, but i have her second marriage to Jackson Patterson, no date. Perhaps she was married three times? Her parents were Joseph Jacob Thannisch and Isabella Sullivan, born 1819 in Lawrence County, Arkansas. I have found so many mistakes in these censuses. On your census, I can account for Joseph and T.M. (Thomas Marion), but i have no "S.R." It shows that he was two years younger than T.M....and my records have a son born two years after T.M....but his name is Lemuel Kittrell Thannisch (my branch). Also you have J. Thannisch born in Arkansas, our Joseph was born in Prussia. Joseph's wife Isabella didn't die until 1891, so she should have been on the census. Lastly, you have Thomas Thannisch marrying Martha Ponder 4/14/1875, our records show 1/21/1875. I'll research these date differences. hope this helps just a bit......keep in touch
