I have purchased a very old family album at a flea market in Willow Springs MO. This album is about 1900 and is filled with old family pictures, picture postcards of the family, and old tin-types. The album is in very poor condition but the pictures are in great shape. I find the name of Casey in it and correspondance from Montier MO over in Shannon Co. Looks like Beullah Casey and family. Can anyone help me find it's home? Jackie Wood
Jackie, I'm so thrilled to hear about what you are doing. I go to Antique Shows and see old photos albums too. I think "how sad". Perhaps this can become a project in the locale where the albums are picked up at a sale? What a great idea. I'll try to remember it when I see a great Bible with pictures and ancestral history. Take care.
