Their son was Micager PAYNE, who married Elizabeth ALLEN on 27 September 1810 in Burke Co., NC. Their son was Thomas Miles PAYNE, who married Rebecca HALLOWAY on 11 March 1875 in Ripley Co. My Robert PAYNE was the son of Robert PAYNE, born 1791 in Burke Co., died 1859 in Marion Co., TN. He was married first to Mary BAKER, and second to Nancy MCMAHAN. Robert was the son of Nancy. Robert and Daniel PAYNE were both sons of Robert PAINE and Rachel LORD. Robert died in Burke Co., NC in 1805. In sum, the families are related.
