Her father was ? from TN and mother was uppose to be from MS. unsure of the validity of this info on parents. Lena was suppose to have been orphaned along with a brother named Jim or james that was adopted by a Dalton family.(jim) Lena married a Pleas Marshall Rodgers 3 march 1891 in Monroe county AR. Pleas was 33 she was 18, Pleas was born 31 Aug 1859 from Grundy county TN. He was known to have been east of or in east St.Louis MO. I don't have any further info on Lena or James except that she did have a brother that died. I don't know why the children were orphaned unless there was a death to the parents. I don't know what county in MO they may have been in, saw your posting and guess I am grasping at straws here. thanks terri
