Hi Rose Ella Mae Honeycutt was my great grandmother. The only information I have on her is that her father was James W. Honeycutt b. abt 1857 Ripley Co. Mo. He married Dolley Susan Forrest 15 Oct 1882 Ripley Co. Mo. Besides Ella Mae, they also had son Willard. 1910 Ripley County Mo. census has Willy/Willard living with the Jody Throckmartin family and is listed as orphan. Ella mae is listed in same census with the James Sewell family and listed as adopted. James Sewell had a daughter named Lula who married Charlie Crews. My grandmother said that her mother Ella Mae always said they were related to the crews family. Ella and Lula always remained close. Maybe your Dicie is a sister to James? It's one more place to look any way. This is all I have so every bit helps.
