I'm not sure I can name OUR relationship. If I am the gggrandaughter of Angeline Niswonger Plunk that would make me the ggggg granddaughter of this Catherine (who would be Angeline's ggrandmother - right?). So I think your ggrandfather you mention here would be the Nicholas Jacob Masters born 1740?? I will try to figure out how Ady Margaret Hardings is related to the Burgets. I believe I may have seen that name in all my hours of staring at these screens. I will work on this new info you sent me - John G. Coe - and see if I can find anything. I am trying to write an historical fiction book using Sophia Angeline Niswonger as my main character - taking her through the Civil War in Cape Girardeau, moving to Doniphan after she was married (don't know just when), and on to Okla in 3 wagons!!! (where my family is from) just at or a little after it became a state - after having been Indian Territory for 70 years. I've never written a book before so this is all very new. Thanks SO VERY much for taking the time to respond to me. I live in KC (Johnson County) having moved to here in 1970 with my husband (though I'm now, sadly, divorced). He moved on and I stayed here, but I go to Okla frequently. I intend to try and find the gravesites of Angeline and William Henry Plunk when I'm there next week for Christmas. My mom is 84 and remembers Angeline well - she died there when my mom was 14 I think. I guess I'm really pestering her for all her memories since she is the only one left I can ask! - hehe I'll look forward to getting back to you soon - though it may be after the Christmas holiday. Have a great Christmas, Nancy PS: Hope you don't mind that this message is so long. >> --part1_109.1d4585c1.2b2ec13a_boundary Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from rly-xi02.mx.aol.com (rly-xi02.mail.aol.com [172.20.116.7]) by air-xi01.mail.aol.com (v90.10) with ESMTP id MAILINXI14-1216003729; Mon, 16 Dec 2002 00:37:29 -0500 Received: from lists2.rootsweb.com (lists7.rootsweb.com [207.40.200.39]) by rly-xi02.mx.aol.com (v90.10) with ESMTP id MAILRELAYINXI22-1216003701; Mon, 16 Dec 2002 00:37:01 1900 Received: (from [email protected]) by lists2.rootsweb.com (8.12.4/8.12.4) id gBG5ahpj018220; Sun, 15 Dec 2002 22:36:43 -0700 Resent-Date: Sun, 15 Dec 2002 22:36:43 -0700 X-Original-Sender: [email protected] Sun Dec 15 22:36:43 2002 From: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Date: Mon, 16 Dec 2002 00:36:47 EST Subject: Re: [MORIPLEY] Re: Burrow Old-To: [email protected] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: AOL 4.0 for Windows 95 sub 113 Resent-Message-ID: <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Resent-From: [email protected] Reply-To: [email protected] X-Mailing-List: <[email protected]> archive/latest/1834 X-Loop: [email protected] Precedence: list Resent-Sender: [email protected] Oh Becky - thanks for answering me!!
