B Smith I have found in the Clerk's Book Dated May 1902 another listing Charles S Swift is listed under the parent or guardian column. Under the column titled "Name of Children" it lists: Johan Swift 14, dessy Swift 12, Ives Swift 10" May 1903 it lists C Swift; Children as "Richard Swift 18, John 15, Dessy 13, Louis 11" In another book titled "Missouri District Clerk's Record" on page 61 under the title "Annual Enumeration for the Year 1915" it lists George Swift as the parent or guardian of Leo Swift age 12, Chester ---- 9" I don't know what the dashes next to Chester is supposed to mean unless it's supposed to show he is also a swift.
