However, I do know something about Tucker, MO and the stores there--I grew up there as the daughter of Russell Tucker, part owner of the store known as Cox and Tucker and later Tucker Bros. My dad bought an interest in the store about 1937 and was part owner with Leonard and Glen Cox. Later the Coxes sold their interest and my uncle, Will Tucker, and my dad ran the store for several years--until the early 1980's. Leonard and Glen were brothers, sons of Elliot and Ollie (Smelser, I think) Cox. John Wright also owned a store in Tucker at two different times, the first time before I can remember, but I believe it was in the 1930's. He later opened another one in the late 1940's or 1950's.
