Today is a day of great celebration! The constituency spoke and the Virginia General Assembly heard your voices.Your opinion counted; your letters and emails read and heeded. Democracy is alive and well in Virginia! There is much to be said about the power of united voices and this is an excellent example. This Bill if enacted allowed clerks at their discretion to destroy historic Wills and other pertinent historical records dated after 1/1/1913 once they had been microfilmed and retained in their files for 6 months to 10 yrs.
