Yes I am sure it was. I just happened to be looking at some information I got from Johnny some time back. It reads: Shiloh School "Don't know just when Shiloh School was started, but I am sure it was before 1920, because that's the only school James and Elsie (Walker Ezell... Johnnys parents) went to. Jessy started there in 1935 probably and I (Johnny) started there in 1937. I believe Retha McDowell was my 1st grade teacher and Jim Allen was my second grade teacher there and then we started riding the bus to Grandin School. We lived in the barn on the Burk place when Jessy started and Grandpa's old place ( Thomas Irvin Ezell) when I started. We moved from there out on the ridge and walked from there to Shiloh school for 1 year. I remember when dad was on the school board there, also when we cut and hauld the winters supply of firewood one winter." Donna (Ezell) Carter
