Matt, If you have time, would it be possible to look up William Proctor's bio? My family is related to both, William Proctor (Ripley County) and Z A Carter (Carter County). They are both Great grandparents of my in-laws. Carter Atwater Proctor married Minerva (Nellie) Eleanor Carter. They had two daughters, Betty and Peggy.
